Radiators

I used to love Radiator heat. They always keep your place nice and toasty. I’ve come to absolutely detest it — especially when you don’t have the option to turn it off. When it kicks in, our tiny little abode gets up to about 1,000 degrees. The only way to combat the heat and the stuffiness is to crack a window open.

Tonight, it’s about 15 degrees outside here in Hoboken. After about 10 minutes of leaving the window open, all the heat escapes, and the apartment drops to a chilly 51 degrees. We’re either bundled up in hoodies and thermal underwear, or are stripped down to our skivvies! There’s no winning here.

And if anyone happens to know what has happened to Threshold on CBS, I’m all ears. It stopped recording on our DVR about a month and a half ago, when it got moved from the Friday night time slot. CBS’s Web site says it’s on Tuesdays at 10:00pm, but I’ve not seen it on there in ages either. Threshold — Wherever have you gone?
