More Than A Woman
I just got off the phone with Swedish Girl. God bless that woman. She told me that she just got a haircut. That may sound like such a simple thing. Well, it is. She told me now over the phone, rather than waiting until we see each other this evening so that she could pounce on me if I didn’t notice it within the first 45 seconds. My hyperactive mother used to do this all the time. It wasn’t bad enough that she terrorized my dad with that routine, but to pull that stunt with me? Just another reason why Swedish Girl is one groovy girl.

Wait. It’s ok for you to play the “What’s with the beard game” trying to get people to comment on your beard (or lack thereof) but it’s not ok for her to play the same game?

Swedish Girl is exempt from “What’s With the Beard?” because she is inextricably involved in most facial hair decisions. So, my friend, it’s not the same game.

You see, its all strategy…we do all these unique, un- characteristic things to get you to believe we are a little extra special. BUT…the true goal behind these actions is actually much more complicated. I won’t go into it all because SOME things must remain a secret. But, you see…now you will ALWAYS notice the little things….simply because you believe she doesn’t expect you to. Ladies…you have to admit….the satisfaction of knowing that’s he’s worked his way right along into your plot is almost as good as shopping. Its a shame we can’t share it with them, but you can share your success stories with me!
