Off to LA

I’m heading out to Los Angeles this morning on Business, to return tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the trip, as it’s my first time to the City of Angels. Our client’s office is actually located in Beverly Hills, so naturally we needed to get a hotel nearby. It’s not the Beverly Wilshire or anything, but still… I’m sure it’s nice.

While I’m 99.9% sure that LA is not the town for me, it’s still going to be nice to check it out. It’s too bad the trip wasn’t a few weeks back, when I could’ve briefly extended my stay met up with The Captain… Oh well.

  1. L.A. is a cool city. I highly recommend driving around, if possible, to help you get a feel for the layout. What hotel are you staying in?

I spent a week at the Sofitel in Beverly Hills and felt like a rock star. My window looked out on the Hollywood sign…I had to fight back the urge to down mass quantities of JD, trash my room, and set things on fire.

    You’ll enjoy it.

  2. Scot Walsh lives there now (the one from Java’s, maybe you remember, maybe you don’t, used to have really long hair and rode a skateboard) with his wife Danielle and their son.. He says he loves it there, but I have my reservations about LA.. let us know what you think!
