Fuzzles
April 6th, 2006I’m starting to feel like I’m going through icons faster than I do kleenex. It’s funny how quick everyone is to criticize, but yet I open the door for submissions and what do I get? Nothing.
Everyone’s a critic, I tell ya. Anyway, here’s my new icon, it’s known as a fuzzle. He’s not just a normal fuzzle, this guy is a rabid fuzzle — because he’s sick and tired of having people give him a hard time about being an icon.
Originally, I was thinking about using Davey, from Davey and Goliath.. but cropped down he looked a little too much like Howdy Doody. Here’s a larger photo of our dear friend the fuzzle. Beware.
My other diatribe
March 25th, 2006For those that are interested, I’ve started up another weblog — this one dedicated to running. As a result of the recent success from the “How To” article I wrote, I figured ‘Why not start a weblog of similar style posts…”
So I did. I know that I signed a non-compete when I started with the Diatribe here, but — trust me, it will not interfere with my duties or responsibilities here. As with my running post, most of you probably have little interest in reading about running tips and tricks.. but if you do, it’s there.
Anyway, the URL is Stridewrite.net. I’ve managed to get a post or two up there, so check it out if you’re interested. If not, stick around the Diatribe — as I’ll surely be here.

March 18th, 2006Is everyone happy? I’ve changed my icon. It was between this classic photo and Bob Ross. It must have something to do with the hair, not sure. In any event — I hope this will shut y’all up for a little while.
Flickr Permissions Changed
March 7th, 2006Just a headsup to everyone that checks out pictures on The Diatribe — via flickr. I’ve set a number of them behind permission restrictions, meaning you need to be “my friend” in order to view them.
Please go here and log into flickr with your username and password. You may not have a Flickr account, but it was recently purchased from yahoo — so if you have a yahoo account, that will work too.
Then click “Add The Diatribe” as a contact.” I will then be notified that you’ve added me as a contact, and I can then add you as my friend/family — where you can see all the illicit photos. Or at least previously public photos, which have now become illicit. Usually the ones that include some sort of alcoholic beverage, etc.
Anyway, Sorry for the inconvenience, but thems the breaks.

I can’t believe I missed this. February 11th Marked the one-year anniversary of The Diatribe. How exciting! One year of Blogging, and still going strong. Happy Friggin Birthday Diatribe, and let’s hope there are many more to come.
