And the photos to prove it!

July 20th, 2008

It’s amazing to think that two weeks have passed since the wedding — but it’s true. And to celebrate this two week anniversary, I received a call from our photographer informing us that our photos are ready to be viewed.

Interested in checking them out? Visit the Morin Studio Web Site and choose our wedding. The password is the date of the wedding in mm/dd/yy format. Need more help? Leave a comment and I’ll be sure to help ya out!

Fortunately, I’ve included the best photo of all right here for the world to enjoy!

A sigh of relief for the groom & his groomsmen.

What a Wedding

July 14th, 2008

I want to start out by saying thank you to everyone that was able to make it up to Amherst last weekend for Miss Possible’s and my wedding. It was awesome to see everyone and I really hope that everyone had a great time between the various activities at the picnic on Friday and the wedding on Saturday. I’ve managed to pick up not only a new wife, but also a new hobby courtesy of my Father in Law (Golf) and from all of the stress and strain from the weekend’s adventures I managed to come down with a case of tendinitis in my right elbow as a result of the Softball + Horseshoes + Golf, etc.

I felt like I was away from work for so long — but the entire two weeks seemed to fly by so fast. MP and I had a great time on the cape and a great end of the week with friends and family. As I get photos, I’ll post them (or at least links to the albums) with the permission of the photo takers. So, if you have pics you want to have shared — send them my way and I’ll put together a post with all of them combined.

Thanks for sharing in our special weekend!

Someone’s Ready for a Trip

June 23rd, 2008

We went out today to get bogart a new carry-on case for the plane, in preparation for our upcoming trip back east for the wedding. We tried this one out in the store and he ran in there and made himself at home. We’ve never seen him so excited about a carrier!

Bogart's Carry-on

When we brought it home, he laid down in it and starting crying. While we’re not exactly sure why he was so upset — we have reason to believe that he was trying to tell us that he was ready to go on the trip. Over the course of the evening, he already spent several hours in his new carrier. Amazing.

Thriller

June 13th, 2008

I can’t say enough about my sister — who has volunteered to give her rendition of the Indian Thriller video at my wedding. She just started practicing today, so I’m sure it will be fantastic!

Thanks T-B Ama Ebie!

Ringing It

May 6th, 2008

I never realized how hard it is to pick out a wedding ring. All design-issues aside, Miss Possible’s engagement ring was fairly easy — as she was the one that had to struggle with the style decisions for a ring that she’ll wear forever.

I never really had to do that.. until this weekend. It was frustrating — looking at all the styles that looked practically identical. I finally found something nice and unique — and of course unique usually means more expensive than originally planned. Still, I went to pick it up today — and we’re in business.

One less thing on the list — and only a few weeks left to go now! Wowzahs.

What I’ve Been Up To

April 8th, 2008

So, I was thinking the other day of trying to put together at least a weekly post to update everyone as to the random things going on for that week.. a weekly update of sorts. I’m not sure how exciting it’s going to be — maybe you’ll see just how lame our lives are, but here’s the update for this past week..

We spent a good chunk of the weekend playing a rented video game from Hollywood Video, Burnout Paradise for the 360.. lotta fun.. and we’re going to continue giving Hollywood Video our game rental money until Netflix finds a way to incorporate games into their 8-at-a-time plan. :)

Wedding is coming along. Miss Possible’s been bustin’ her hump to put together the invitations and she’s done a fine job at that. Our weekly to-do list is growing — pick out the wine, order the ketubah, get rings.. oy.

We figured out the domain for the wedding as well.. I scored the which will play host to all of the fun wedding information as the date gets closer. I also set up on it.. so, I’ve got an obvious email address over there — that looks and acts like Gmail. Very sweet.

FWIW, I also managed to get my hands on a few evernote invitations as well, for those that are interested. Evernote is a “note taking” software that syncs with the web and your phone. According to the site, the goal of the application suite is to be able to remember everything. Take a picture of that bottle of wine and email it to yourself at evernote. Done and done. If anyone’s interested, let me know via comments and I can send ya one.

That’s all I’ve got for this Tuesday.. Can’t wait to see who .

Registry Poll

November 22nd, 2007

I can’t believe I didn’t think of this earlier.. So, let me poll you — dear Diatribe Readers.

If you were to get married in the next year, would you do your wedding registries on the Friday after Thanksgiving? Yes / No.

Comments Encouraged ;)
